This season we will follow Sarah Bovy, talking to the Belgian driver at each event to find out how the previous race went for the team, what happened in between events and what the expectations are for the upcoming event. We will talk to Sarah at all six ELMS events and also at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The last time Sarah Bovy competed in an ELMS race in 2022 at the 4 Hours of Portimao, where she, Michelle and Doriane Pin made ELMS history by becoming the first all female crew to win in the ELMS. During the FIA WEC 2023 season Sarah took three pole positions and the team took a debut WEC victory in Bahrain at the end of the season to be confirmed as Vice Champions.
This year the team are challenging for the title in both the European Le Mans Series and the FIA World Endurance Championship, so it will be a busy but very interesting year for Sarah and the Iron Dames team.
In the first video Sarah talks about the ELMS win in 2022, last season in the WEC, the switch from LMGTE to LMGT3, the challenges of racing a Lamborghini in the WEC and a Porsche in the ELMS and the first race of the ELMS season in Barcelona.
